Wax paper is made of one side wax coated white paper available in standard size of 50x38cm. Wax paper is used one side of germination paper while seed testing to stop the moisture from evaporating. It is the outer layer for germination paper when rolled to be put in a germinator. It is used instead of polythene sheet as wax paper provides the aeration needed for testing.
